Hello again everyone! It's been ages since I've posted my previous post..
Anyways, the past few months were super busy (artistically speaking), for I have been working on a new mobile game, which is coming out very soon, with John Francis and his team. Most of my work was related to illustrating cutscenes for the game, as well as game elements here and there, but very minimal concept design I'm afraid; I joined the team a bit late to be able to do that.

Makkah painting update

Still working on the details....

There will be many light sources; the sky, indoor lights and outdoor lights. That's the main challenge in this painting.

New painting: Makkah

So finally I get to work on a new oil painting. The subject this time is kinda different than my usual comfort zone; buildings!
I chose the Grand Mosque in Makkah because of the unique architecture of that place, plus it will be a gift for a friend of mine ( I hope he doesn't read my blog! ).... Anyhow, these are some first WIP images of the small painting so far... enjoy and stay tuned!

Cloud and mood studies

This was a quick color sketch that I did just to capture a scene I've seen on my way home.

This second illustration was a mood study. I tried to emphasize the sunset time in a desert region.
